Quick Guide
Name, City, Type of Resource

Once the commercial as well as travel hub of many communities, railroad depots were abandoned or neglected in the thousands with the ascendancy of the automobile as the 20th century wore on.  Many have found new life as restaurants, shops and businesses. Others, including many listed here, are now museums, community centers, and even departure points for tourist or scenic passenger rail lines.  Please tell us about your favorite depot if we haven't listed it here.
